Trailing coloured glass in layers over each piece is Lynden Over’s signature technique. In doing so he creates a rich painterly look where each glass work is totally unique. His pieces are inspired by the spectacular and rugged New Zealand landscape. His works are innovative and highly unique.
Lynden Over trained at North Tec in Whangārei, New Zealand. He holds a bachelor’s degree in applied arts. On the completion of his study he continued to work in glass. Lynden rented a local glass studio where he developed his own original range of collectable art glassware.
"The emotion and power of the New Zealand landscape is a continual source of inspiration for my art.
Through the medium of glass I respond to the lights and shades of our land, from the reflections of the earthy sundrenched Central Plateau through to the striking rich colours of the New Zealand coastlines.
Using the translucence and reflective qualities of glass, and the matte finish I can create pieces which change in different lights just as the landscape changes. I also work to achieve a textural quality on the surface of each piece, again reflecting the organic composition of nature. I am continually challenged by the qualities of glass developing ways to manipulate the liquid material to evoke the beauty of my place." - Lynden Over

Store Pick Up allows you to order online and pick up your order in-store, without incurring any delivery fees.
Your order will be ready the next business day, and our pick up hours are 10AM – 5PM Monday to Friday.

Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout.
Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday.
Allow 3 - 5 business days for delivery within New Zealand (please allow an extra business day for South Island and Rural addresses).
Once your order has been collected by our courier, you’ll be notified via email and provided a tracking number. All orders/parcels are labelled as a “signature required” courier service for security purposes.
*Our standard shipping excludes PO Boxes, Waiheke island, Great Barrier island, Chatham island and Stewart island.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
