This is a beautiful pale jade cast glass Korimako - Bellbird made by Luke Jacomb Studio.
Launched from a garage in Newton, Auckland (Aotearoa New Zealand) in 2008 by renowned glass artist Luke Jacomb, Luke Jacomb Studio focuses on producing an affordable range of handmade cast and blown glass art and homewares.
Luke Jacomb Studio's cast glass, wall sculptures are individually created using the "lost wax casting" technique. Each piece is handcrafted in Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, by a team of talented craftspeople.
Taking more than 24 hours to complete, every piece is slightly unique, bearing testament to their handmade nature.
The New Zealand Bellbird is also known by its Māori names 'Korimako' and 'Makomako'. Great singers and orators were praised by being compared to the Bellbird, a beautiful singer. They are the most widespread and familiar honeyeater in the South Island, and are also common over much of the North Island.

Your order will be ready the next business day, and our pick up hours are 10AM – 5PM Monday to Friday.

Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday.
Allow 3 - 5 business days for delivery within New Zealand (please allow an extra business day for South Island and Rural addresses).
Once your order has been collected by our courier, you’ll be notified via email and provided a tracking number. All orders/parcels are labelled as a “signature required” courier service for security purposes.
*Our standard shipping excludes PO Boxes, Waiheke island, Great Barrier island, Chatham island and Stewart island.
