It seems like an ordinary day when Tui and Kae, fourteen-year-old twins, get home from school – until they find their mother, Maia, has disappeared and a swirling vortex has opened up in her room. They are sucked into this portal and dragged down to Rarohenga, the Māori Underworld, a shadowy place of infinite dark levels, changing landscapes and untrustworthy characters. Maia has been kidnapped by their estranged father, Tema, enchanted to forget who she really is and hidden somewhere here. Tui and Kae have to find a way through this maze, outwit the shady characters they meet, break the spell on their mother, and escape to the World of Light before the Goddess of Shadows or Tema holds them in Rarohenga forever.

Store Pick Up allows you to order online and pick up your order in-store, without incurring any delivery fees.
Your order will be ready the next business day, and our pick up hours are 10AM – 5PM Monday to Friday.

DELIVERY WITHIN AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND
Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout.
Online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday.
Allow 3 - 5 business days for delivery within New Zealand (please allow an extra business day for South Island and Rural addresses).
Once your order has been collected by our courier, you’ll be notified via email and provided a tracking number. All orders/parcels are labelled as a “signature required” courier service for security purposes.
*Our standard shipping excludes PO Boxes, Waiheke island, Great Barrier island, Chatham island and Stewart island.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

Please be advised, orders that are shipped internationally, could be subject to the relevant taxes, duties and tariffs applied by the country the items are being delivered into.
These additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient of the order.
